Community Guidelines

• Treat every member with courtesy regardless of age, gender, village, occupation, or economic status
• Do not engage in personal attacks, insults, or demeaning comments
• Respect differing opinions — disagreements should be expressed constructively
• Address conflicts privately or through community administrators
• Celebrate community diversity and contributions of all members

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile
• Do not impersonate or misrepresent yourself as another person
• Do not spread misinformation, rumors, or unverified claims
• Report profiles or content you believe to be fraudulent

• Respect other members' privacy settings and boundaries
• Do not share or forward others' personal information without explicit consent
• Do not screenshot private conversations for redistribution
• Honor requests from members who prefer not to be contacted
• Do not stalk, track, or persistently contact members who haven't responded

• Use the directory for legitimate community connections only
• Do not use contact information for commercial solicitation or spam
• Do not use the directory for political campaigning or religious proselytizing
• Do not scrape, copy, or export member data for external use
• Contact members only for community-related and appropriate purposes

• Do not share offensive, sexually explicit, violent, or graphic content
• Do not use hate speech or language targeting caste, religion, gender, or ethnicity
• Keep all interactions family-friendly and culturally appropriate
• Do not promote illegal activities, substances, or services
• Do not post content that could endanger community members

• Participate honestly in polls and surveys — one vote per person
• Do not create duplicate accounts to manipulate voting
• Respect event organizers and follow event-specific guidelines
• RSVP accurately for events to help with planning
• Provide constructive feedback rather than destructive criticism

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any kind
• Posting defamatory, libelous, or malicious content about other members
• Attempting to hack, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
• Creating fake profiles or impersonating community administrators
• Using the platform to organize activities that violate Indian law
• Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent solicitations

If you encounter behavior violating these guidelines:

• Report to community administrators through the app
• Email: admin@sathvaracommunity.org
• All reports are reviewed confidentially — reporter identity is protected
• False or malicious reports may themselves constitute a violation

These guidelines may be updated as the community evolves. Members will be notified of significant changes through the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
